Souvenir typescript containing the lyrics to the song 'Alexander's Ragtime Band,' one page, 8.5 x 11, signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Irving Berlin. The lyrics, in part: "Come on and hear, come on and hear / Alexander's Ragtime Band. / Come on and hear, come on and hear / It's the best band in the land. / They can play a bugle call like you never heard before, / So natural that you want to go to war; / That's just the bestest band what am, honey lamb." In very good to fine condition, with four horizontal folds, staining to the bottom, and staple holes to the top edge. Accompanied by a transmittal letter from Berlin's secretary, dated April 10, 1941.
