The caption in the upper border announces his acquittal of the contempt of Congress charges arising from his appearance before the House Committee on Un-American Activities. Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 12 x 11.25. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing (heavier in the upper left corner) and some light surface impressions.
