Description

ALS signed “C. L. Dodgson,” one page, 7 x 4.5, October 23, 1890. Written from Oxford, a letter to Mrs. Dyer in full: "I enclose 6/ for the book I overlooked, of Whittome's. Also 1 1/2 d. for postage of letter. Also envelope for you to acknowledge its receipt. I hope you have filled up your house again." Dodgson has added a postscript on the reverse: "I shall be interested to know whether you get that picture or not; & whether it turns out to be worth paying for a frame for." In fine condition, with three vertical folds and a couple of creases. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.
