Popular American pin-up artist, known as T. N. Thompson, who created some of the most enduring calendar imagery of the 1950s. Original pin-up calendar oil painting entitled 'My Equipment Ought to Catch Something,' depicting a busty woman fly fishing in a red swimsuit, accomplished by Jerry T. N. Thompson in oil on 19.75 x 29.75 stretched canvas, signed in the lower left in blue paint, "Thompson." This artwork was used for the July image of Thompson's 1956 'Studio Sketches' pin-up calendar. Framed and in fine condition.
