Two TLSs, each one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, 1963 and 1966. The first, of March 14, 1963, in part: "I had a most pleasant visit with the representatives of the foreign countries who were attending a meeting at the University of Kansas. I am hoping to make another visit to Phoenix one of these days and if that happens, of course, you will know about it." The second, of June 15, 1966, in part: "Enclosed are the pictures you sent." In very good to fine condition, with paperclip impressions to both letters, and staple holes to the upper edge of the earlier letter. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for one letter (bearing a pre-printed free frank) and an original vintage glossy 5 x 7 press photo of Truman shaking hands in Iowa in 1956.
