Four items signed by Marshall, including a signed photo and three one-page TLSs: a matte-finish 4.75 x 7.25 formal portrait, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, "To Mr. and Mrs. Ken Browne, with my regards, G. C. Marshall"; a TLS on Secretary of State letterhead, August 4, 1957, in part: "It is good you you to hope for a rest at this time for Mrs. Marshall and me, but I am afraid that such a plan must be postponed for a while longer"; a TLS on American National Red Cross letterhead, September 21 1950, in part: "It was very kind of you to write as you did, and an encouragement to me in the difficult days ahead"; and a TLS on General of the Army letterhead, February 3, 1956, sending thanks for birthday wishes. In overall very good to fine condition, with a paperclip impression and light dampstaining to the photo, creasing to two of the letters, and irregular toning to the third letter.
