Inaugural items from the collection of Ike's longtime military aide Robert L. Schulz: an uncommon gold-tone DC Metropolitan Police badge issued for Eisenhower's second inauguration on January 20, 1957, identified on the face as "No. 84," encapsulated in Lucite and displayed upon a wooden stand; an official program for the second inauguration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Vice President Richard Nixon in 1957, 48 pages, 8.5 x 11, featuring a portrait of the pair by Norman Rockwell on the cover; and a bold fountain pen signature as president, "Dwight D. Eisenhower," on a pale green 4 x 1.75 slip torn from a sheet of White House stationery. In overall fine condition. From the collection of Brigadier General Robert L. Schulz, longtime military aide to Dwight D. Eisenhower.
