The reverse of last free end page in book features a letter of provenance from the original recipient: "Herbert Hoover autographed this interesting book just 30 minutes after we purchased it at the Waldorf-Astoria Bookshop in New York City. Mr. Hoover received us in his Waldorf-Astoria Towers suite—Sept. 12, 1957…Autographed by 'Ding Darling and W. W. Waymack in October 1957—Iowa." In fine condition.
