Terrific 40.25 x 30 poster for a Ramones concert at the Barrowland in Glasgow, Scotland on October 2, 1989, as part of the Brain Drain tour, signed in black felt tip by Johnny, Marky, CJ, and Joey Ramone, who adds "89." The poster features an enlarged image from the 1989 film Pet Sematary. Mounted and framed under Plexiglas to a slightly larger size. In fine condition, with pieces of clear tape along the edges.
The Ramones, one of Stephen King's favorite bands, have been inextricably linked with the author since the band wrote the title song for the 1989 film Pet Sematary, with 'Sheena Is a Punk Rocker' also heard during the film. Additionally, King's 1983 novel for Pet Sematary makes reference to the punk rockers near the end of Chapter 11—'Louis turned on the radio and dialed until he found the Ramones belting out 'Rockaway Beach.' He turned it up and sang along—not well but with lusty enjoyment.' From the collection of Ramones head of security and driver Gene Frawley.
