Description

The X-Files props of Scully and Mulder

Highly appealing group lot of four props used for the Fox science fiction drama television series The X-Files, including:

A pair of laminated FBI identification badges belonging to special agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, 2.5 x 3.75, with front featuring images of the X-File agents below facsimile signatures and reverse featuring FBI emblems and bar codes; individually housed in plastic sleeves with clip holder. Both of these FBI I.D. badges were used during the eighth season of The X-Files; created in the studio’s property department in Los Angeles, these examples of Scully and Mulder FBI badges differ from those seen in earlier seasons when the series was filmed in Vancouver.

A pack of Morley cigarettes, 2.25 x 3.25 x .75, with red-and-white packaging designed to look like a pack of Marlboros; cigarettes are not included. The Morley brand is the go-to smoke for the ‘Cigarette Smoking Man,’ the arch-nemesis of Special Agent Mulder, who, in season 11, reveals his full name to be Carl Gerhard Busch.

A brown 9.5 x 11.75 FBI folder containing reports for three X-Files story arcs: a ‘Prosecutive Report’ concerning “Gary Lambert and Incidents Arising at From VinylRight Telemarketing Office,” which focuses on the events of ‘Folie à Deux,’ the nineteenth episode of season five, which was written by Vince Gilligan of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fame; an informal report relating to the abduction of Scully by Duane Barry, a significant storyline featured in the show’s second season; and a case file on serial killer Luther Lee Boggs, the antagonist from ‘Beyond the Sea,’ the thirteenth episode of the first season, with fan favorite character actor Brad Douriff playing the part of Boggs. The folder also contained a police report related to the arrest of Richard Talbot. In overall fine condition.
