Original vintage circa 1910s glossy 8 x 10 silver gelatin photograph of Cy Young in his Boston Red Sox uniform, showing him in a desirable mid-toss pitching pose. Reverse is stamped "Filed…June 1919" and "Nov 5 1955," and is annotated with a caption: "Denton T. 'Cy' Young as he looked when he pitched for Boston Red Sox." In very good condition, with light creasing and crazing to the emulsion, and a few tiny grease pencil editorial notations. Encapsulated by PSA and certified as an authentic "Type II" photograph.
