UK issue CD single for 'Heart-Shaped Box' by Nirvana, signed on the front of the booklet in blue felt tip, "Kurt," "Krist," and "David." In fine condition. The CD is included. Despite not being released as a physical single in America, 'Heart-Shaped Box,' the first single from Nirvana's third and final studio album, In Utero, managed to attain the number one spot on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart due in large part to strong radio airplay and a now iconic and surrealistic music video; according to the director Anton Corbijn, the video was '15% mine' and 85% Cobain’s. A brilliant fully signed CD for one of Nirvana's most popular grunge rock anthems.
Brennan first met Nirvana in January 1992, in the lobby of NBC when they were at the Thursday music rehearsal for a “Saturday Night Live” performance. After that, he flew to Seattle six times to see Nirvana, Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. He followed them before they were famous: “I just knew.” He met them a total of 8-12 times. “In just under two years, it was all over.” He followed them all of 1992 and 1993. Drummer Dave Grohl is seen wearing a “Secret Sounds” t-shirt on the album cover for “Muddy Banks of Wishkah,” which Brennan gave him. “Dave was always difficult to deal with; Kurt was the easy one.” Accompanied by full letters of authenticity from REAL and Beckett Authentication Services.
