Uncommon grouping of 12 original glossy photos commemorating the historic flight of Soyuz 15, ranging in size from 4.5 x 6.25 to 8.75 x 5, each affixed inside a custom 11.75 x 8.25 presentation binder likely intended as a gift for a Soyuz team member. The majority of the photos include seldom-seen images of Commander Gennadi Sarafanov and Flight Engineer Lev Dyomin, with several showing them in their space suits prior to the mission. In overall fine condition, with wear to the album's covers. Intended to be the second mission to the Soviet Union's Salyut 3 space station, the Soyuz 15 mission had to be abandoned when the spacecraft was unable to dock due to an electronic malfunction in the Igla docking system.
