(Walt Disney Studios, 1937) Original hand-painted preliminary background from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs featuring the backyard of the dwarfs' cottage, the setting of their memorable washing scene. The well-composed preliminary design shows soft light coming through the open window and doorway, an anvil and hammer on the left side, and a barrel and bucket on the right. Accomplished in watercolor on 10 x 6.5 artist's paper. Matted to an overall size of 16 x 12.5. In fine condition.
