Politician (1905-1993) who succeeded Chiang Kai-shek as President of the Republic of China, serving from 1975 to 1978. Scarce matte-finish 4 x 6 photo of Yen Chia-kan in a bust-length pose, affixed to the original 7 x 10 studio mount, signed on the mount in fountain pen in Chinese characters. Typed collector's notation to reverse indicates that the signature was obtained in April 1966. In fine condition, with a faint circular bend in the wide upper border.
