DS, three pages, 8.5 x 11, May 1, 1978. Document concerning the classic film Apocalypse Now, related to the employment agreement between Coppola's American Zoetrope studio and Steven Spielberg. In part: "Employer represents and warrants that: it had an exclusive agreement with Steven Spielberg ('Employee') and was exclusively entitled to the results and proceeds of his services…As full consideration therefor, Producer will pay to Employer a sum equal to one percent (1%) of one hundred percent (100%) of the net profits, if any, derived from the distribution and exploitation of the Picture." Signed at the conclusion in black ink by Coppola, and initialed by him three times on the first two pages; the line for Spielberg's signature has been left blank. In fine condition, with a PSA/DNA label affixed to the reverse of the last page. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
