Limited edition flown 1 x .5 piece of coldplate metal used to shield the Command Module Columbia as it carried the Apollo 11 crew to and from the moon. The fragment is encased in a 3.5 x 5 x 1.5 block of Lucite imprinted with the mission name and an identifying notation. In fine condition. Includes the original box with a signed certificate from Historic Space numbered '4.' Accompanied by the original mailing box. The lowest numbered Apollo 11 coldplate that we have encountered.
