Strip of three "Food for Love" concession tickets from the iconic Woodstock Music and Art Fair, 6 x 1, with each ticket allotted for 20 cents and accordingly numbered: 076348, 076349, and 076350. In overall fine condition.
When the plan to hire Nathan's hot dogs fell through, Woodstock organizers hired vendors Food for Love, an upstart venture helmed by Charles Baxter, Jeffrey Joerger, and Lee Howard. With around 400,000 in attendance, the Food for Love concession stands were quickly overwhelmed. Long lines and dwindling supplies resulted in elevated prices, and two of the stands were purportedly set aflame by disgruntled, famished hippies. These Food for Love tickets are quite scarce given that the majority were discarded on site by hungry concertgoers.
