Description

Connecticut mechanical engineer, inventor, and co-founder of Pratt & Whitney (1827-1902). ALS signed “F. A. Pratt,” one page, 8.25 x 7.5, Pratt & Whitney Co. letterhead, September 28, 1899. Letter to "Mr. Buchard," in full: "Yours of the 16th was received in due season. I have never understood the T. & B. Tool Co. quite, before the explanation you give. If it is as you say, (of which I have no doubt), it is all right. I pity you and Mr. Merritt, I am glad that the creditors rec'd 100% on their claims." In very good to fine condition, with intersecting folds and overall creasing.
