Kennedy meeting in the Oval Office with NASA personnel from the Mariner 2 project on January 17, 1963, taken by official White House photographer Cecil W. Stoughton. The group of NASA officials, including administrator Dr. James Webb, presented JFK with a model of the Mariner 2 space probe.
