Description

Brad-bound original shooting script belonging to actress Sumi Haru for The Partridge Family episode 'Why Did the Music Stop?,' season one, episode 17, 36 pages, 8.5 x 11, dated November 19, 1970, signed on the front cover in black felt tip, "Love, Shirley Jones," with Haru signing below in black ink. In fine condition, with expected wear from use. Among her stints on shows like Krakatoa, East of Java, MASH, The Beverly Hillbillies, and Hill Street Blues, actress Sumi Haru served as interim president of Screen Actors Guild in 1995, which made her the first and to-date only woman of color to hold the position. Haru played a nurse on this particular episode of The Partridge Family.
