Collection of screen-used props from the blockbuster 2010 Marvel Studios superhero film Iron Man 2. The props were handled by actor Garry Shandling as United States Senator Stern and by Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, during a court scene in which Stern presents Stark with a congressional subpoena. The props include: a brown wooden gavel, 10″ in length, and matching base, 4″ in diameter; and a white 8.5 x 11 sheet, both sides, containing the subpoena, which reads, in part: “You are commanded to appear before the United States Senate Arms Committee at a hearing duly noticed, to testify on the contractual agreement by and between ‘Stark Industries’ and the United States Government to provide weapons and equipment to the U.S. Military.” The sheet and wooden base feature affixed labels from Propworx. In overall fine condition. The lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Propworx.
