(20th Century Fox, 1957) Original color 27 x 41 one sheet movie poster for the 20th Century Fox release of the 1957 science fiction film Kronos, also known as Kronos, Destroyer of the Universe, which was directed by Kurt Neumann and starred Jeff Morrow and Barbara Lawrence. The poster features a large, stories-tall four-legged machine with electrified antenna towering above images of the film's cast. The film's title dominates the left side in bold 3-D lettering with captions blocks reading: "Planet Robber Tramples the Earth!" and "Conqueror of the Universe!" Lower border bears an NSS caption line and is numbered "57/161." In fine, folded condition. Kronos has since earned cult status among sci-fi and horror fans alike, and the storyline has been praised for its prudent portrayal of the negative effects of over-consumption of both natural and man-made resources.
