Vintage glossy 8.75 x 5.75 photo of Truman and Romulo riding in a convertible, signed in fountain pen against the dark car, "Best wishes, Harry S. Truman," and against his hat, "Harry S. Truman," and also signed and inscribed in the lower right, "To Kenneth H. Browne, with the best wishes of Carlos P. Romulo, Lake Success, November 1, 1949." Reverse bears an Associated Press Wirephoto ink stamp and typed collector's notations indicating that Romulo signed in 1949 and Truman signed in 1966. In very good condition, with trimmed (and homemade deckled) edges, scattered light creasing, a diagonal crease to the left of Truman's head, and poor contrast to Romulo's signature, and to Truman's first attempt.
