Brigadier general (1908-2006) in the United States Air Force and a flying ace of World War II, credited with shooting down 13 Japanese aircraft; he is widely remembered for his WWII memoir God is My Co-Pilot, about his time with the Flying Tigers. Vintage matte-finish 10 x 8 photo of Scott in the cockpit of a fighter plane, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Luke Air Force Base, June 3, 1957, To my friends—the Ken Brownes—Sincerely—Bob Scott.” Reverse bears an official "Air Force Photo" ink stamp. In very good to fine condition, with creasing to the corners, and a light paperclip impression to the bottom edge.
