Reagan's prisoner demands to the president of North Vietnam

TLS signed "Ronald Reagan, Sacramento, Calif., Gov. of Calif," one page, 8.5 x 11, United States Air Force Mothers letterhead, no date. A list of six demands sent to North Vietnamese President Ton Duc Thang, in full: "I am writing this letter in the name of humanity, that: 1. All injured prisoners be released as quickly as possible. 2. The names of all prisoners be revealed. 3. Prisoners be allowed to exchange mail with their families. 4. Impartial inspections be made immediately of prisoners facilities. 5. Prisoners receive proper diet and medical care. 6. Hanoi live up to the spirit of the Geneva Convention by putting into practice the Convention's rules on the treatment of war prisoners." In very good to fine condition, with some yellow staining, and show-through from mounting residue on the reverse.
