Description

The Chili Peppers' 'freaky' second album, signed by the late Hillel Slovak

Freaky Styley promotional album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, signed and inscribed around the border in black ink, "Joyce—Only eat top choice—Love, Anthony Kiedis," "Joyce, Funk is a many splendored thing—Flea," "Joyce—Rejoice, Hillel Slovak," and "Joyce—Keep your pants down, Love, Cliff." In fine condition, with a diagonal scratch to the upper right area. The record is not included. A decidedly scarce and sought-after Chili Peppers lineup—founding guitarist Hillel Slovak, who made his studio album on Freaky Styley, succumbed to a heroin addiction at the age of 26 on June 25, 1988.
