Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 20 x 16, August 8, 1916. President Wilson appoints Wilford St. Dunn as "Notary Public for the District of Columbia." Signed crisply at the conclusion by Wilson, and countersigned by Attorney General Thomas W. Gregory. Embossed orange Department of Justice seal remains affixed to lower left. In very good condition, with light staining, toning, and soiling, and paper loss and tears to the edges; Wilson's signature, and the attractive orange seal, are completely unaffected.
