Freak show performer (1911-1991) missing the lower half of his torso, best known for his role in Tod Browning's 1932 cult classic film Freaks. He was often billed as the amazing 'Half-Boy' and 'King of the Freaks.' ALS signed “Johnny,” one page, 5.75 x 7.5, October 22, 1987. Letter to a friend, in part: "Sorry for the delay—busy here every day, painting window screens for customers. A big thing in Baltimore! Try to get a copy of Psychtronic (Encyclopedia of Film (3,000 movies plus amazing stills!) You will find me and Prince Randion, the human torso, and myself in a great still photo from 'Freaks' page 260." In fine condition.
