Collection of 25 presidential holiday greeting and thank you cards sent from the White House between 1970 and 2011, which also includes a rare 1950 Christmas broadside from President Harry Truman and First Lady Bess Truman, 8.5 x 11, which represents one of only 1,000 printed by the Government Printing Office to be distributed to White House staffers. The other cards include: the Johnsons (1964, 1965, 1969), the Nixons (1970-1973), the Fords (1974 and 1975), the Carters (1980), the Reagans (1981-1986), the Bushes (1991 and 1992), the Clintons (1994-1996), the Bushes (George W.) (2001, 2004, 2006), and the Obamas (2011). Also included are 1970 and 1971 birthday ‘thank you’ cards from Richard and Pat Nixon, as well as three Christmas cards from Hubert Humphrey and his wife (1965, 1968, 1972). Many of the cards feature facsimile signatures, and the majority are accompanied by their original mailing envelope. The Truman broadside is matted and framed to an overall size of 12.25 x 15.25.
