Original script for an episode of Death Valley Days entitled 'The Pieces of the Puzzle' by Glenhall Talylor, 8.5 x 11, signed on the front cover in red felt tip by actors Robert Taylor, Russell Johnson, Garry Walberg, and Barry Sadler; and director Jean Yarbrough. The script is mounted against four of its pages and framed in a shadowbox to an overall size of 22 x 24.5; a detached engraved plaque to the lower right reads: "First Script, Old Tucson Sound Stage, January 1968." In very good to fine condition, with Sadler's signature faded but visible, toned adhesive to edges and corners of the mounted pages, and the frame and glass somewhat loose. An interesting piece of Old Tucson history, made all the more intriguing by the signature of Barry Sadler, a real-life war hero who is best remembered for his hit song, 'The Ballad of The Green Berets.'
