Description

Grammy nomination certificate, 8.5 x 10.75, presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to "Randy Kerber, Instrumental Arranger, in recognition of Nomination for the Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocal(s), 'Over the Rainbow' (Track from One Voice), for the awards period 1987." In fine condition, with a tiny chip to the upper left corner. Known primarily for his work in film, Kerber has worked on over 800 motion pictures including Titanic, A Beautiful Mind, and the Harry Potter series. He earned an Oscar nomination in 1986 for his work on the score for The Color Purple, and was nominated for a Grammy for his arrangement of 'Over the Rainbow' for Barbra Streisand. Originally written by Harold Arlen and Yip Harburg, the classic song was made famous by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz.
