Letter to "Mr. Griscom," in part: "I receive my friends after five on Mondays, and by six there are few to none here. Perhaps you would come in, then, tomorrow at that time—No—I think after all Tuesday at half past five will be better, because I remember I expect to have a charming Miss Gordon sing for me tomorrow at six. You might like to hear her—if so come then." In fine condition, with a short split along the central horizontal fold. Accompanied by an unrelated later hand-addressed mailing envelope, franked in the upper right, "Frances F. Cleveland Preston, Free."
