Two items: a glossy 8 x 9.75 photo of Borland as Luna standing alongside her father Count Mora, played by Bela Lugosi, in the 1935 horror film Mark of the Vampire, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "To Pauline from Carroll Luna Borland," who signs again in the lower border, "Greetings to Pauline Tominack—Carroll Borland," and then again on the reverse when she corrects a misspelling of her surname; and an ALS, signed "Carroll Borland (Parten)," one page, both sides, 5.75 x 7.75, no date, addressed to Pauline Tominack, in part: "I left motion pictures (after China Seas, Buck Gordon & Sutter's Gold) to live in Europe for some time. I returned in the 50's, & then had a daughter & became interested in Child Development. I returned to school, took a Bachelor's of Science in Child Growth & Development, a Master's in Metropolitan Strategies (Inner City Children) & a (Ph.D.) doctorate in Education. At present I am the coordinator at the Gerontology Program at Pacific Oaks College." In overall fine condition.
