Original color 28 x 22 poster for the 1970 Atlanta Pop Festival designed by Lance Bragg, featuring Jimi Hendrix, Procol Harum, Allman Bros., B. B. King, Richie Havens, Jethro Tull, and many others. In very good to fine condition, with a light stain to the bottom edge, some creasing along the top edge, and a missing upper left corner tip. The second and final Atlanta Pop Festival, held during the 4th of July weekend, much like Woodstock in 1969, was eventually turned into a free event when fans tore down the plywood fences, resulting in a crowd estimated anywhere from 350,000 to 550,000. The Allman Brothers, who were barred from playing the previous year due to a crooked booking agent, were headliners this time around. Grand Funk Railroad, who played the previous year's event as an unsigned band, were a sensation; their performance subsequently released as a million-selling live album. Jimi Hendrix reprised his 'Star Spangled Banner' during midnight fireworks on July 4th.
