Alfred Iverson is dead! At the time of his death a year or two ago he resided in Macon, Ga. Genl. David E. Twiggs has been dead several years. Genl. Hardee is living…Genl. Henry R. Jackson lives in Savannah Ga. So do Genl. A. R. Lawton & Genl. H. W. Mercer. I do not know what has become of Genl. D. R. Jones…Genl. Lafayette McLaws resides in Augusta Georgia. This is all the information I can give you in response to your inquiries." In fine condition, with a light water stain, and two small corner stains on the signed page.
