President Hayes authorizes and directs "the Secretary of State to cause the Seal of the United States to be affixed to a warrant for the pardon of Christopher C. Scott." Neatly signed at the conclusion by President Hayes. In fine condition, with a lightly-toned paper clip impression to the top edge.
