Two items signed by Ford: a TLS signed "Jerry Ford," one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, November 13, 1979, in part: "Thank you for your thoughtful letter of October 31 with the enclosed copy of a 1960 letter from Nelson Rockefeller…Nelson's letter was most interesting. I understand his attitude but also his response to a call to duty in August, 1974. He was an outstanding Vice President, and I was most grateful"; and a color 8 x 10 magazine photo, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip, "To Bud Lane, with best wishes, Gerald R. Ford." In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing to the photo, and staple holes to the upper left corner of the letter. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the letter, bearing a preprinted free frank.
