Welsh post-impressionist painter, draughtsman, and etcher (1878- 1961). Uncommon ALS, one page, 7.5 x 9.25, no date. Letter to Mr. Potter, in full: "I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Shere. It is a wonderful spot and I am convinced that I'll have to return there soon. 'Tresco' is an ideal cottage. I felt at once at home in it. Thank you again for your very charming hospitality." Matted and framed with a large portrait of John to an overall size of 22.5 x 18.5. In fine condition, with intersecting folds.
