Souvenir typescript of his oft-anthologized poem "Musee des Beaux Arts," one page, 8.5 x 11, signed and inscribed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint, "For Mrs. Prescott, with best wishes from W. H. Auden." In fine condition, with a few tiny stains in the lower blank area. Accompanied by a transmittal letter from Alice M. DeLana at Miss Porter's School, dated February 10, 1971, thanking Mrs. Sherburne Prescott for sponsoring the school's "Prescott Program" of speakers and sending along this autograph.
