TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, May 5, 1941. Letter to Atwood H. Townsend, chairman of the Committee on College Reading at New York University. In full: "I am returning my questionnaire with my choices checked. In some cases I am unable to vote for a book because I don't really know anything about it—you can decide for yourself whether or not this includes my own books! And here is a blurb for 'Good Reading': 'Nothing could be more valuable than 'Good Reading' in guiding students to something more than mere casual glances at the world of really great literature." Lewis adds "really great" in his own hand. In very good to fine condition, with creasing, mainly to the edges and corners.
