Two items: an original typescript of the song "The Windows of Paris," one onionskin page, 8.5 x 11, signed in the lower right in black felt tip, "Johnny Mercer," and annotated at the top, "Original Copy, 1st edited typewritten copy"; and a TLS signed "J. M.," one page, 6.25 x 9.75, personal letterhead, in part: "You make my little effort feel positively shabby against all those great standards you have—we may have to wait for a war to come along so you can get—and I can write an 'important one.'" In fine condition.
