Prominent British painter and writer (1828-1882) who was one of the founders and central figures of the Pre-Raphaelite movement. ALS signed “D. G. Rossetti,” one page, 4.25 x 7, November 9, 1871. Letter to F. Craven, in full: "The drawing is finished & has gone today to Manchester. I believe that, if we substitute repayment in money for the originally proposed exchange of drawings with regard to 'Morning Music,' the sum of our transactions now leaves me your debtor for the amount of £30, for which I enclose cheque." In very good to fine condition, with creases though the signature, and short splits to the ends of the central horizontal fold.
