Smith of Amesbury, Massachusetts, in full: "I am in receipt of your favor of Aug. 16, kindly offering me a place on the Advisory Board of the Whittier Home Association, and in reply would say that I appreciate very much your kindly offer, which I shall consider and shall give you a definite answer when I reach Tuskegee." In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, and a stain to the top blank area.
