Description

ALS signed “Vincent,” two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5.5 x 8.5, no date. Letter to "Max, child," probably her friend and fellow writer Max Eastman, in part: "You are my dearest boy. I am pained that I shall not see you again before I go, for I may be gone a long time.—However, I will let you know where I am in Paris." In very good to fine condition, with toning to the top edge, and short splits to the intersecting folds. Originally sold by Goodspeed's Book Shop and accompanied by their paper folder. Our first handwritten Millay letter in nearly two decades.
