In Near Mint overall condition. The Pirates were off on August 19th in order to travel to Los Angeles, where their star outfielder had a remarkable series—Clemente recorded 11 hits in 16 at bats, along with one homer and five runs driven in. Clemente continued his typical excellence throughout the whole 1970 season, winning his tenth consecutive Gold Glove in right field and compiling a .352 batting average, the second highest of his career.
