National League uniform manager’s contract in which Red Schoendienst agrees to render "skilled service as such in connection with all baseball activities of the Club during the year of 1967” for the St. Louis Cardinals, for a salary of $30,000. Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Schoendienst and countersigned by Cardinals General Manager Bob Howsam. The reverse is signed by National League President Warren Giles. In very good to fine condition, with small tears to right edges and a partial separation to lower left fold. Schoendienst would manage his St. Louis Cardinals to World Series victory over the Boston Red Sox in the 1967 World Series, a feat he had similarly accomplished as a player in 1946.
