Italian poet, prose writer, editor, and translator (1896-1981) who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1975. AQS in Italian in blue ballpoint on a white 4 x 5.75 sheet of his personal letterhead, signed at the conclusion, "Eugenio Montale." Montale pens his poem "Pasqua senze week end [Easter without Week-End]," first published in 1971. In fine condition.
