Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “George R.,” one page, 13.5 x 9.5, April 1, 1807. King George appoints Thomas Gloster as "Ensign in the 61st (or the South Gloucestershire) Reg't of Foot." Signed in the upper left corner by the king, with original blue stamp affixed to left side. In very good condition, with soiling, light staining, and one missing seal.
