Group of three items signed by Griffith, including: a TLS, one page, Washington American League Baseball Club letterhead, November 29, 1951, to two fans in Sioux City, in part: "If you search the records in your home town papers to the year 1888, you will find that Clark Griffith pitched the first professional game of Baseball ever played in Sioux City"; and two vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photos by George Burke, each signed along the bottom in blue ballpoint by Griffith, with one inscribed in another hand "To Joyce and Ken." In overall fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
